RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE SOCIETY

 

1. Name of the Society          :           SWEET (SOCIETY FOR WOMEN EDUCATION

AND ENVIRONMENT TRAININGS)

2. Location of the Office        :           Vill & Mandal : Kattangur – 508205.

                                                            Nalgonda District.

3. I) General membership :

i)                    Below 40 years aged people are eligible for membership

ii)                   No one can claim membership as a matter of right.

   II) Category Members :

   Those Members who have signed on the Memorandum of association are called charted Members.

 

4. General Body :

I)                   Annual General Body will meet once in a year i.e. in the month of December.

II)                 FUNCTIONS “

i)                    To pass the budget for the ensuing year and approval of the expenditure statement of previous year.

ii)                   To approve the report of the activities of the society .

iii)                 To elect the executive committee etc.

iv)                 To appoint an Auditor.

 

5.   i) Exact Member of the executive body including office bearers (5) i.e. President,

      Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer & Executive Director remaining persons are

      office bearers.

ii) The member of the executive committee (Governing Body) shall be duty-bound to attest the signatures of all the members of newly elected executive committee (Governing Body)  and to see that the said signatures in shape of an annual list as filed with the Registrar of Societies before 15th day of the success ding month of the month in which elections were held.

 

iii) FUNCTION OF THE EXECUTIVE BODY AND OFFICE BEARERS :

 

1.      PRESIDENT : She presides over all the meetings of the both the General body and executive committee, She can supervise all the branches of the Association.

2.      VICE PRESIDENT : She will assist the president in discharging he functions. In the absence of the president she will performs the duties of the president as entrusted by her.

3.      SECRETARY : She is the Chief Executive Officer of the Association and maintain to all records relating to the Association and correspondence on behalf of the Association. She has to take on record of all minutes of Association and to convence both the bodies of the Association. With the president. She guide the treasurer in preparing the Budget and Expenditure statements to put before the General Body for its approval.

4.       TREASURER : She is the responsible person of all the financial transactions relating to the association. She has to maintain accounts. Property along with the vouchers. She has to prepare the budget and expenditure statements of Secretary. She has to operate the amount of the association jointly with President and Secretary.

5.      EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR : She shall be responsible for the functioning of the Society within the scope of memorandum of Association Societies Rules and Regulations, By-laws for the time being free, and the policies laid down by the General Body and Executive committee from time to time. She functions as an ex-officio member of the Executive committee.

6.      QUORUM : Half of the total members for General body meeting and ¼ for executive body meeting.

7.      FUNDS : The Chief functionary (Executive Director & Treasurer is authorized to draw the loan from the lending agency and to distribute if among self help group members and to pay back them with interest to the concerned organization.

8.      AMENDMENTS : No amendments or alteration shall be made in purpose of the association unless it is voted by 2/3 of the for the purpose and confirmed by 2/3 of the members present at a second special meeting.

9.      WINDINGUP : In case the society has to be wind up the property and funds of the society shall be transferred or paid to some others institution with similar aims and objects.
